Verona Lions Club

To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding is the mission of Lions clubs.

Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller and communities get better. That’s because they help where help is needed – in our own communities and around the world – with unmatched integrity and energy.

Over 45,000 clubs and 1.35 million members make the Lions the world’s largest service club organization.

To become a Lion, you must be of legal majority, good moral character and good reputation in your community.

Membership is by invitation. If you’re interested in being invited to join an existing Lions club, contact the club and express your interest, ask if you can attend a meeting to learn more about the club and its service projects and at the meeting, ask about becoming a member.

Meetings are at 7:00 PM on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month and are held at O’Neils, 706 Bloomfield Ave, Verona, NJ. For membership information, visit the website and key in Verona, NJ under “find a club” or call 973-239-4196 or 973-239-8396.
